just another day, and i spent it reminiscing
of a smile that haunts my soul's been longing
when all i have is a dream of a passionate love

this feeling of doubt and hope constantly enthralls
as moments are tainted with specks of sadness
but only a loves promise can ease such madness

i hang on to a promise of us in days to come
as i put behind my burdens and my qualms
giving me hope of a life that one day we'll spend
